Payroll Specialist

As a payroll specialist, your responsibilities will include collecting and reviewing employee information and hours, calculating wages, preparing and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records.

Hotel Overview: The Makkah Clock Royal Tower, a Fairmont hotel, is located a few steps from the Holy Mosque and the Kaaba. One of the tallest buildings in the world, this 76-storey hotel is the focal point of the Abraj Al Bait complex, part of the King Abdulaziz Endowment Project, the iconic symbol of hospitality in the Holy City. Summary of responsibilities:

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, primary responsibilities and functions include but are not limited to the following:

– Gather schedule data and payroll information.
Entering data into databases, administrative programs and salaries.
– Calculation of wages, benefits, commissions, etc.
– Preparing and processing salary checks and cash deposits.
Maintain accurate records of payroll documents and transactions.
Preparing and distributing income statements.
Respond to salary inquiries and solve problems.
– Making account balances and salary adjustments.
Preparing financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes.
Preparing periodic salary reports for management review.

qualifications:

– High School certificate.
A degree in accounting, business or a related field may be preferred.
– At least 3 years of experience working in the payroll field or in a similar position.
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices.
Experience working with accounting and payroll software.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High numerical efficiency.
– Detail oriented.
