Job description and summary
Country Financial Support forms a key team within the OneFinance community for PwC ME. The team is responsible for all day-to-day financial operations in the country and for the smooth running of the countries’ financial requirements.
The job holder is a key member of the team, responsible for the day-to-day support and management required. Responsible for performing the accounting work in accordance with the PwC approved accounting principles, applicable procedures, management guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the business.

In addition, he is responsible for the day-to-day support and management required within the provision of account payable services.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities

Financial issues

Responsible for supporting day-to-day financial functions originating locally in the country including country funding processing requirements
Support the Chief Financial Officer and Manager providing task management as required
Responsible for collecting and processing all invoices received for accounts payable
Support matching invoices with LPOs / receivables and follow up on any consultation with purchases / buyer
Ensure that all country financial issues are addressed and responded to quickly


Client

Support the on-time accurate financial requirements of the Country Finance Manager (CSP/COO)
– Support monthly closing of accounts and termination of monthly accounts
Respond to special requests in a timely manner

Monitor and ensure correct documentation of employee payments
Prepare standardized reports or summaries, and other documents required for the job as directed
– Comply and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions

– Adhere to policies and procedures

Knowledge, skills and abilities

education

College level education with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required


language

– Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills, fluency in Arabic is an advantage


Comprehensive experience

2+ years of experience in accounting

– Strong financial, analytical and accounting skills
– Good level of accuracy to a high level of detail
– Good arithmetic and analytical skills
– Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
