Manama, May 8 (BNA): A parliamentary delegation headed by the Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee of the Shura Council, Rida Ibrahim Al-Manfaridi, will participate in the work of the 14th General Assembly of the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union, to be held in Manama. Kuwait on May 11.
The delegation also includes members of Parliament Ahmed Al-Amer and Zainab Abdel Amir.
The General Assembly will discuss the administrative and financial report of the General Secretariat of the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union for the period 2021-2022.
It will also witness the election of the President of the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union, the Vice-President, and the Secretary-General as Treasurer, in addition to the opening of the Youth Scout Forum “Tamkeen”.
It will also discuss the final statement of the 32nd Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union and review the proposals submitted to the General Secretariat.
The General Assembly will also approve the membership of a number of Arab parliamentarians in the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union and honor the pioneers of the Arab Scouts.
