Manama, October 4 (BNA) Bahrain and Pakistan unveiled a slogan marking the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between them.
To mark the occasion, the Embassy of Pakistan hosted a logo launch event that kicks off the Golden Jubilee celebrations throughout the year with events to be hosted by Bahrain and Pakistan.
Mohammed Ayub, Ambassador of Pakistan to Bahrain, and Fatima Abdullah Al Dhaen, Head of Afro-Asian Affairs at Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, unveiled the logo at a ceremony attended by representatives of Pakistani community organizations, the business community, parliamentarians and businessmen. modes.
Ambassador Ayoub congratulated the leadership and people of Bahrain and Pakistan for their remarkable contributions to cementing this friendship over the past fifty years.
“Pakistan and Bahrain enjoy long-standing relations based on shared values and mutual trust with strong ties of friendship, cultural and historical ties,” he said.
Our two countries share similar views on issues of common interest and support each other in multilateral fora. Both countries stand together for world peace and prosperity.”
He added that Pakistan and Bahrain have a history of security and defense cooperation in various fields.
“We are now working together to translate this historic relationship into a mutually beneficial economic partnership. This year, we celebrate not only 50 years of diplomatic relations but centuries of brotherly relations, enduring friendship, close cooperation and steadfast mutual support.”

The Pakistani community and all communities in Bahrain will participate in the celebrations. The golden jubilee celebrations will also focus on the participation of young people to be the bearers of the future banner of Pakistan-Bahraini relations.
He added that Pakistan and Bahrain will celebrate this achievement with a renewed commitment to continue strengthening the existing friendly relations between the two countries in all fields, particularly in trade, investment, culture, education, tourism and people’s communications.
Fatima Daen praised Bahrain’s distinguished relations with Pakistan, and expressed the Kingdom’s keenness to enhance cooperation in all areas of common interest.
The Embassy, in cooperation with relevant departments of the Government of Bahrain and Pakistani community organizations, is organizing a series of events and programs throughout the year to celebrate 50 years of establishing diplomatic relations.
