On behalf of HM the King, HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad attends Horse Racing Festival

Manama, March 11 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, his personal representative, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, attended the horse racing festival that is being held today for the King’s Cup, organized by the Rashid Equestrian Company. Horse Racing Club on Raffa Track in Sakhir.

The race was attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, notables and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain and horse racing enthusiasts.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa handed over the cups to the winners of the race. He presented the King’s Cup for Arabian horses, the King’s Cup for local horses to Fawzi Nass, the King’s Cup for imported horses to Sheikh Sultan Al-Din bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the King’s Cup to the owner Abdullah Fawzi Nass. Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, Sheikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa, presented the Raffa Cup to trainer Jaber Ramadan and the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club Cup to owner Abdullah Issa. A TetraCells representative presented the TetraCells Sprint Cup to coach Youssef Taher.

The personal representative of His Majesty the King expressed his pride in attending the race on behalf of His Majesty, praising the efforts of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in organizing such races and supporting the jockeys. He praised the achievements of Bahraini jockeys in equestrian sports and horse racing.
