Oil Minister receives OAPEC Secretary General

Manama, Jan. 26 (BNA): The Minister of Oil and Environment received the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dinah, Secretary-General of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), Ali Sabt.

The meeting came on the sidelines of the Middle East Energy and Sustainability Forum 2023, where Dr. Bin Dinah praised the great role played by OAPEC in enhancing aspects of cooperation between the members of the organization.


The minister affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation between all organizations and associations specialized in the oil sector, with the aim of exchanging experiences and knowledge and finding investment opportunities to advance the economy.


The meeting reviewed issues of common interest, and discussed the latest developments, activities, events, current and future projects, and studies in various oil and environmental fields, especially those studies and reports completed by the organization in the field of monitoring environmental and climate affairs. they change.

The Secretary-General expressed his admiration for the development projects in the oil sector and the environmental initiatives implemented in Bahrain.
