Manama, August 7 (BNA) The Minister of Oil and Environment received the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dina, the Japanese ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Miyamoto Masayuki.
The minister praised the envoy’s efforts to strengthen Bahraini-Japanese relations in various fields, including cooperation between Bahraini and Japanese oil companies.
Dr. Bin Dina stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Japan to benefit from its expertise in the field of technology.
The meeting reviewed projects in the energy sector, environmental initiatives and opportunities to enhance investment cooperation.
The ambassador affirmed Japan’s keenness to develop its cooperation with the Kingdom in all fields, especially in the environment and oil sectors.
He praised the development of the energy sector in Bahrain, which supports the development process in the Kingdom.
