Manama, Jan. 8 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, stressed the importance of community partnership to enhance interaction and rapid response to citizens and residents, in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Interior. He said that the National Public Relations Authority (NPRA) allocates channels of interaction with the public to receive their inquiries, suggestions and complaints. He said that in 2022, the call center received 63,000 calls, and the national system for suggestions and complaints “Tawasul” received 50,000 requests.
He explained that a specialized team has dealt with all calls and requests, and suggestions and complaints have been referred to the concerned directorates. He said that the agency will continue to develop channels of interaction to provide the best services.
He called for taking advantage of a communication program via the website and smartphone application, and calling the call center at 17077077 for inquiries, suggestions and complaints.
