Norway’s king tests positive for COVID, has mild symptoms

Copenhagen, March 22 (BNA) Royal officials said that the 85-year-old King of Norway, Harald V, tested positive for the Corona virus today, Tuesday, and had mild symptoms.

The royal family said in a brief statement that Harald will take a break from his duties for a few days and that his son and Crown Prince Haakon will take over for now.

Harald has received three shots of the COVID-19 vaccine, even though he’s been sick several times in recent years, including in 2020 when he underwent surgery for a new heart valve, the AP reports.
