Northern Governor receives Bahraini Catalysts Disabilities Association board

Manama, March 30 (BNA): The Governor of the North, Ali Sheikh Abdul-Hussein Al-Asfoor, received here today the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Association for People with Incentive Disabilities (BCDA), Dr. Riyad Al-Marzouq, and a number of members.

During the meeting, innovative ideas for community solidarity with BCDA were discussed to agree on a national day for people of determination.

The governor praised the charity’s message and its contributions to empowering people of determination, stressing the Northern Governorate’s readiness to support the association’s efforts to enhance community partnership and national belonging, adopt motivational initiatives for people with disabilities, and agree to adopt healthy and motivational sports. Programs for people of determination in the category of women within the criteria and requirements for accreditation of the Northern Governorate as a health governorate.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association expressed his sincere thanks to the Governor for his support for the Association, and his keenness to include it in all the programs and events of the Northern Governorate.

He also reviewed the objectives of the association, which aims to provide all forms of support to persons with disabilities and enable them to engage in various activities.
