Manama, October 30 (BNA) The Ministry of Labor and Social Development announced the opening of nominations for the 15th and 6th local sessions of the Arabic version of the Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for Productive Families.
The ministry said that the award winners will be announced in March 2022 in a ceremony held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women.
The award is organized annually at the local level and every two years at the Arab level after the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs issued a decision in 2010 approving the launch of the award at the Arab level to encourage productive families.
A three-day exhibition will also be opened on the sidelines of the awards ceremony to showcase distinguished products, encourage home-based entrepreneurs and develop talents and skills.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Development invites Bahraini and Arab productive families to apply for the award by registering in the electronic form on the Ministry’s website from November 1 to February 20, 2022. Participating products must be presented in person at the Capital Mall. For Bahraini hands products, in Karbabad, during official working hours. For food products, only participation forms will be received, and the date for receiving food product samples will be scheduled later through direct communication with the participants in February 2022.
