Manama, Jan. 25 (BNA): The Oil and Gas Holding Company B.S.C. ) to make Beban the first TV show powered 100% by renewable energy.
Beban TV is about entrepreneurs pitching their businesses to a panel of regional investors for investment and strategic business opportunities.
The exhibition highlights local success stories and creates a platform that accelerates the growth of local businesses in regional and international markets.
The partnership aims to promote sustainability and encourage the development of alternative energy across the Kingdom.
It is also linked to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitments made at COP26, which aims to reduce carbon emissions by 30% through local projects and encourage the use and development of renewable energy.

Beban plays a major role in facilitating investment opportunities for promising companies, creating an impact that encourages entrepreneurship as a viable path, with the aim of diversifying the national economy in Bahrain,” said Ayman Bin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hope Fund. The Chairman of the Electricity and Water Authority, Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to developing renewable energy sources in line with the economic goals of Bahrain Vision 2030.
“EWA is proud to enable the Biban TV show to be powered by renewable energy while also showcasing the private sector as it co-invests in local entrepreneurs and participates in their growth,” he said.
“Nogaholding is dedicated to ensuring energy security and diversifying energy sources as part of its new direction towards sustainable and responsible energy production,” said Mark Thomas, CEO of the Nogaholding Group.
