Nissan gets $1.44 billion green loan for zero-emission mobility investments


Tokyo, Nov. 30 (BNA): Japan’s Nissan Motor Co. signed a 200 billion yen ($1.44 billion) green loan agreement to finance zero-emission mobility investments.

The syndicated loan was arranged by Mizuho Bank and MUFG Bank, with contractual terms of five and seven years, the bank said in a statement.

Nissan said the money would be used for research and development of zero-emission vehicles, electric vehicle components and other carbon-neutral initiatives.
