Manama, October 5 (BNA) The National Institute for Human Rights received a delegation of members of Congress and the Senate from the United States.
The delegation held a meeting with members of the Board of Commissioners.
Member of the Board of Commissioners, Hala Ramzy, stressed the importance of this visit to closely see Bahrain’s successful experience in the field of human rights by promoting rights and freedoms for all citizens and residents.
The delegation was briefed on the role of the National Human Rights Institution in accordance with the law of its establishment and its advisory role in providing recommendations related to human rights.
