NIHR President receives UNDP Acting Resident Representative

Manama, Dec. 21 (BNA): The President of the National Institution for Human Rights, Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, received the Acting Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Bahrain, Firas Gharaibeh.


Al-Derazi praised the cooperation between the National Institution for Human Rights and the United Nations Development Program and affirmed its continuation in achieving common goals.


He affirmed the NIHR’s keenness to cooperate with the United Nations Development Program and benefit from its experience and initiatives in related issues, especially in organizing the next conference on environmental protection.


Gharaibeh appreciated the Foundation’s efforts to contribute to sustainable development through human rights in a way that serves the human rights system in Bahrain, looking forward to more cooperation to achieve common goals.
