Manama, Jan. 3 (BNA) The President of the National Institution for Human Rights, Ali Ahmed Al-Dirazi, received the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs for Migrant Workers’ Affairs Sarah Lu Areola.
Al-Darazi praised the bilateral relations and stressed the important contributions of the Filipino community in the Kingdom.
The meeting discussed the efforts of the National Human Rights Institution in supporting the human rights of migrant workers, following up on their conditions and ensuring their availability in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and relevant international and regional agreements.
Areola expressed her appreciation for the great humanitarian efforts made by the National Human Rights Institution.
She praised the distinguished relations, wishing Bahrain and its people continued progress and prosperity.
