Manama, January 18 (BNA): The President of the National Institution for Human Rights, Ali Ahmed Al-Darazi, visited the Nasser Vocational Training Center today, where he met with its director, Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al-Nuaimi, in the presence of the Center’s Academic Director Nabih Aziz and Legal Adviser Hassan Rashid Al-Nuaimi.
The Druze was briefed on the educational and training programs of the center and its facilities.
The two sides discussed the effective role that the center plays in rehabilitating convicts who are eligible for alternative penalties in order to reintegrate them into society and ensure their positive contribution to the stability of Bahraini society.
Al-Darazi indicated that his visit aims to enhance cooperation between the National Institution for Human Rights and the National Center for Human Rights, stressing the importance of the center’s role in rehabilitating convicts in reform centers.
