NIHR and Bahrain Medical Society discuss cooperation

Manama, April 3 (BNA): The President of the National Institution for Human Rights, Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, received the President of the Bahrain Medical Association, Dr. Amer Al-Derazi.

Dr. Malallah Al-Hammadi, head of the Detention and Facilities Committee, attended to visit the places of detention and facilities at the institution.

The President of the National Institution for Human Rights praised the active role of society and the efforts of its member doctors in developing the medical and health sector and their continuous endeavors to achieve the desired goals.

He affirmed the institution’s full support for raising the quality of the health system and the efficiency of services provided to citizens and residents.

The meeting discussed issues and initiatives of common interest.

They pointed out the importance of strengthening coordination and cooperation during the next stage.

Dr. Amer Al-Derazi praised the Foundation’s effective role in protecting and promoting human rights in the Kingdom.
