NHRA employees attend training workshop

Manama, November 19 (BNA) The National Health Regulatory Authority held a training workshop on first aid for twenty of its employees.

The training workshop was held in coordination with the Bahrain Red Crescent Society.

The participants obtained the International Paramedic Certificate, which will empower them in emergency situations.

The workshop, which was held at the headquarters of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, focused on many topics, including methods of dealing with injuries, fractures, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, transporting the injured, bleeding and fainting.

Head of the Human and Financial Resources Department at the authority, Eman Ibrahim Abdullah, stressed the importance of building competencies to support health services and enhance preparedness to deal with emergency situations.
