Abu Dhabi, June 17 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today, at his residence in Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State.
The meeting was attended by the representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, the National Security Adviser and the Commander of the Royal Guard, Staff Lieutenant General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Commander of the Special Force of the Royal Guard at the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, First Deputy Chairman of the Board. President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Colonel His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
During the meeting, His Majesty the King expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Head of State for his generous visit, wishing him good health and happiness.
The two leaders exchanged cordial conversations that reflect the strong fraternal relations that bind the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain and their peoples, wishing their countries continued security, stability and prosperity.
They renewed the joint commitment to continue the course of fraternal consultations for the benefit of their people, and exchanged views on issues of common concern.
They also reviewed aspects of joint work in all fields to support development efforts aimed at achieving the aspirations and interests of their countries.
His Majesty the King praised the long-term relations between the two countries, which represent a model for common relations between countries, based on brotherhood bonds, unified visions and positions, and a common destiny.
