Manama, Dec. 31 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,971.49 points, marking an increase of 10.11 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the communication service sector, financial sector and material sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 728.91 points, marking an increase of 1.39 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 65 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,510,020 worth BD 253,921.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 58.81% of the total value of securities traded.
