Manama, Aug. 20 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,961.75 points marking an increase of 9.12 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the raise in the material sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 760.69 points marking a decrease of 0.09 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 55 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,593,161 worth BD 1,153,704.
Investors traded mainly in the material sector representing 63.17% of the total value of securities traded.
