TRA holds Open Forum 2022-2023

Manama, June 15 (BNA): The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority held the second open forum to discuss the developments of its work plan 2022-2023.

Through this action plan, the TRA aims to create an environment that supports innovation, making Bahrain one of the most advanced telecom markets in the world through a secure and resilient network, reliable broadband service for all, and ensuring that consumers are empowered and protected.

Philippe Marneck, Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, emphasized the importance of these forums in bringing together stakeholders to share their experiences and discuss the most pressing issues and opportunities in the field of telecommunications for the development of an active and healthy digital ecosystem.

He added, “Working alongside our stakeholders, we continue to progress towards our strategic goals. We look forward to holding more open forums so that we can continue to engage with all stakeholders.”
