Manama, June 13 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Dr. Hussain Muslim, Director General of the Club. Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and President of World Aquatics.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority, and Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
He congratulated His Highness Sheikh Khaled Al-Musallam on receiving an honorary doctorate award from the Vasil Levski National Sports Academy in Bulgaria, in recognition of his contribution to water sports.
His Highness emphasized the Muslim’s role in the Olympics and his efforts in developing the Olympic movement in the Asian region and the world.
The collaboration between BOC and OCA was highlighted during the meeting. His Highness the Sheikh referred to the success of the series of events held in cooperation with OCA, which include the gender equality symposium held last year and the fun Asian Games in Hangzhou 2022,
