Manama on June 10 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, His Majesty Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, during His Majesty’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.


His Highness received His Majesty the King, Hajj Hassan al-Bulkiah, in the Kingdom, stressing that the visit reflects the solid relations between the two countries.


His Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, confirmed that the official meeting held by His Majesty King Hamad Isa Al Khalifa with His Majesty King Haj Hassanal Bolkiah, contributed to strengthening Bahraini-Brunei relations and strengthening bilateral cooperation.


His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed that the memorandums of understanding and agreements signed during the official meeting will provide new opportunities and investments that will benefit the two countries and unite them.


The meeting also discussed other strategies to enhance bilateral cooperation and issues of common interest.


His Highness held a dinner banquet in honor of the visit of the Sultan of Brunei and the accompanying delegation.


For his part, His Majesty Hajj Hassan al-Bulkiah expressed his gratitude for His Highness’s commitment to developing bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
