Manama, June 12 (BNA): Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, praised the prominent role he played. By sports leaders in the GCC countries in continental and international federations and organizations.
This came during His Highness’s speech while receiving the President of the Asian Cycling Federation, Osama Al-Shaafar, at Al-Wadi Palace.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the CEO of the General Authority of Societies, Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar, and the Secretary General of the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji.
His Highness Sheikh Osama Al Shaafar received Bahrain in his second country, praising his efforts to develop cycling in Asia and to strengthen cooperation between national federations.
He stressed Bahrain’s keenness to develop cycling in cooperation with the Asian Cycling Federation.
His Highness Sheikh Khaled praised the great role played by Osama Al-Shaafar at the level of the Olympic movement, wishing him continued success.
