RHF wins Bahrain Digital Content Award 2023

Manama, July 9 (BNA): The Royal Humanitarian Foundation won the Digital Content Award 2023 in the category of Inclusion and Empowerment, at the MEET ICT Conference and the Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX), which was held under the patronage of Mohammed bin. Hassan Abdul Aziz Murad, Director of the Information Technology Department at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, received the award that the fund received in recognition of its digital services provided to widows and orphans.

in this occasion; Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, Secretary General of the Health Care Corporation, extended his sincere congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, who launched the digital transformation initiative at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.

He emphasized that winning this award came as a result of Sheikh Nasser’s directives through this initiative, which aims to benefit from innovative digital transformation in the provision of humanitarian services.

Dr. Al-Sayed praised the efforts of everyone who contributed to the establishment of this service from the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and the Information and e-Government Authority.

The service comes to simplify the process of applying for monthly financial support for orphans and widows through the e-government portal.

The fund is keen to adopt the latest technologies to continue improving the quality of services it provides to Bahraini families, in a way that contributes to achieving the government’s vision and supports the efforts of the Information and e-Government Authority in implementing digital transformation plans in the Kingdom.
