Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,922.15 points marking an increase of 4.23 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the Communication services sector, consumer discretionary sector, financial sector and material sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 730.98 points marking an increase of 1.21 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 33 equity transactions took place with a volume of 446,326 worth BD 170,617.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 48.87% of the total value of securities traded.
