Bahrain All Share Index closes higher

Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,994.33 points marking an increase of 1.84 points above the previous closing.

 

This increase was due to the rise in the Communications Services Sector and Financials Sector.

 

Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 748.59 points marking an increase of 1.60 points above the previous closing.

 

Results indicated that 43 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,099,519 worth BD 602,160.

 

Investors traded mainly in the Materials Sector representing 53.91% of the total value of securities traded.
