Northern Governor hails Paramedic Academy voluntary efforts

Manama, Dec. 21 (BNA): Northern Governor, Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussein Al Asfoor, commended the Voluntary Paramedic Academy team for their volunteer work in the community.

 

This shows the team members’ sense of social and national duty to their nation, he said.

 

During his meeting with the Bahraini Paramedics Academy team, the Northern Governor expressed his gratitude and admiration for the joint efforts of the governorate and the academy, as well as their support for the governorate’s numerous initiatives and events, including national celebrations, community, sports, health programmes, and the Ashoora season.

 

He also highlighted the governorate’s significant role in providing high-quality medical care for sick and injured citizens and residents in continuous coordination with the National Ambulance Centre.

 

The Northern Governor praised the Voluntary Paramedics Academy for actively participating in the governorate’s initiatives in order to accredit the district as a healthy governorate and to create a joint strategic action plan that supports the programme’s emergency preparedness and response within the same programme.

 

The Northern Governor was informed about the Academy’s plan to host a first aid training camp designed to educate the community. He appreciated the collaborative cooperation and the endeavour to launch it.
