Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,990.07 points, marking an increase of 2.58 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the consumer discretionary sector and financials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 744.38 points, marking an increase of 3.24 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 81 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,309,993 worth BD 1,779,020.
Investors traded mainly in the materials sector, representing 86% of the total value of securities traded.
