Manama, June 26 (BNA): The Executive Advisory Board of His Highness Sheikh Nasser Center for Artificial Intelligence (NAIRDC) held its third meeting.
The meeting briefed the attendees on the Center’s achievements for the first half of 2023, which included artificial intelligence projects that have been completed for more than 40 institutions and nine regional entities, and the provision of innovative solutions that included automatic prediction, machine learning, computer vision, robotic conversations, and process automation.
The meeting discussed future development projects and initiatives to spread a culture of innovation and investment in research and development activities, most notably holding an annual conference on artificial intelligence in Bahrain.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Central Bank of Bahrain, government hospitals, the Shura Council, the National Audit Bureau, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Agriculture, Surveying and Real Estate Registration. (SLRB), Information and Electronic Government Authority (iGA), Ministry of Interior, Bapco, Benefit, Zain, Alba, Tamkeen, Bahrain Airport Services (BAS), Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group, and Bahrain Economic Development Board.
