Bahrain All Share Index marks 1,972.27 points

Manama, Aug. 10 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,972.27 points marking a decrease of 2.16 points below the previous closing.

This decrease was due to the fall in the communications services sector, industrials sector, materials sector, real estate sector, and consumer staples sector.

Bahrain Islamic has closed at 764.55 points marking an increase of 0.36 points above the previous closing.

Results indicated that 120 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,331,900 worth BD 929,843.

Investors traded mainly in the financials sector representing 44.89% of the total value of securities traded.
