Housing Minister: 93% of Suhail Housing Project book

Manama, June 26 (BNA): The second edition of the Housing Finance Exhibition proved to be a success amid mounting reservations about the “S’hail Housing Project”.

Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, said that 93 percent of the units offered in the “Es’hail Housing Project” have already been booked.

She indicated that the exhibition is in line with the royal vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

And Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, inaugurated the “Suhail” residential project in City Center.

Units of the Es’hail project, the first project to be implemented under the government’s land development programme, were booked during the ten-day exhibition period that concluded on June 24.

The minister said that more than 24,000 visitors flocked to the exhibition, pointing to the great demand for housing financing services. Al-Rumaihi indicated that the exhibition will be expanded during the next stage through an action plan that the Ministry is working on.
