NSSA to participate in Space Camp in Alabama

Manama, June 18 (BNA): The National Space Science Authority has completed its preparations to participate in the international space camp, which will be held by Kalman International Company in Alabama, USA, this summer, represented by a team of high school students.

The team consists of four students who have passed all interviews and tests coordinated by Kallman Worldwide.

The last coordination meeting with the team was held with Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Asiri, CEO of the National Social Security Authority, and Amal Al-Binali, head of the Authority’s Strategic Planning and Project Management Department and the team’s supervisor.

During the meeting, the students were provided with a set of guidelines related to space camp, and the students were urged to represent Bahrain well, especially when competing with other teams.


Dr. Al-Asiri expressed his happiness at meeting this talented group of students who will serve as ambassadors for their country and for all Arab countries during their participation in the space camp.

The team was selected in coordination with the Ministry of Education and consists of academically distinguished students from schools in Bahrain who are active in extracurricular scientific, sports, technological and cultural activities.
