In a post on the site at 12:06 AM ET (0406 GMT), the billionaire owner of the social media platform added: “If the X logo goes live enough tonight, we’ll make it go viral all over the world tomorrow.”
Musk posted a picture of a wobbling “X” but gave no further details. The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment, Reuters reported.
Under Musk’s turbulent period since buying Twitter in October, the company changed its business name to X Corp, reflecting the billionaire’s vision of creating a “super app,” like China’s WeChat.
Twitter’s website says its logo, which depicts a blue bird, is “our most unique asset,” adding “that’s why we’re absolutely protective of it.”
