Manama, June 10 (BNA): Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Juma. Dr. Haja Rumaizah bint Haj Muhammad Salih, Minister of Education, signed today a memorandum of understanding between the Bahraini government and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on cooperation in the educational field.



The agreement was signed at Gudaibiya Palace in the presence of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei.



He explained, “The deal aims to facilitate the exchange of educational information, curricula, training programs, research, digital systems, evaluation methods, and educational technology, in addition to exchanging visits, experiences, and participation in conferences, seminars, and educational events.” Dr. Juma.



He praised the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Brunei, pointing to the importance of strengthening joint relations, especially in the fields of general and technical education and higher education, to achieve common goals and exchange experiences.
