Southern Governorate concludes “Majilat Al-Khair” initiative

Manama, Mar. 16 (BNA): The Southern Governorate concluded the 7th “Majilat Al-Khair” initiative, which is supported by His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, with the participation of a number of volunteers from NGOs and governorate employees.

Since the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, nearly 2,000 boxes have been distributed in various areas of the Southern Governorate.

The “Majilat Al Khair” initiative has achieved outstanding success in distributing Ramadan boxes, which reflects the eagerness of HH the Southern Governor to continue a series of charitable and social initiatives that promote community partnership, following the path of goodness and development, and strengthening ties with all society members.

The initiative has proved its effectiveness in promoting communication, human cohesion and community solidarity.

Launched by the Southern Governorate in 2018, the initiative is a charity and community project that provides “Ramadan boxes” to families in the governorate every year during the holy month of Ramadan.
