Bahrain All Share Index marks 2,021.45 points

Manama, Apr. 18 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,021.45 points, marking a decrease of 6.00 points below the previous closing.

This decrease was due to the drop in the financial sector.

Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 767.42 points, marking a decrease of 8.45 points below the previous closing.

Results indicated that 80 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,451,281 worth BD 1,011,754.

Results also indicated that 2 bonds transactions took place with a volume of 20,000 worth BD19,873, representing 1.93% of the total value of securities traded.

Investors traded mainly in the material sector, representing 74.04% of the total value of securities traded.
