Manama, Aug. 3 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,982.42 points, marking a decrease of 6.06 points below the previous closing.
This decrease was due to the drop in the communication service sector, financial sector and industrial sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 770.18 points, marking a decrease of 7.02 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 67 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,181,379 worth BD 299,158.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 46.12% of the total value of securities traded.
