Manama, July 24 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiq attended a training workshop on career development organized by the Lamia Association.


The minister stressed that Bahrain has reached very advanced levels in empowering youth by involving them in planning and implementing many national programs that contribute to shaping the future of the Kingdom.


Al-Tawfiqi pointed out that empowering young people, training them, providing them with scientific and practical expertise, and investing in their energies represents an important element in Bahrain’s vision in the field of youth.


She indicated that the workshop included valuable information that enriches the knowledge of the participants.


The workshop included a number of topics, including: career path management, methodologies and steps for building a self-development plan, and methods for setting future practical goals.


It highlighted the impact of unconscious beliefs and behaviors on career goals, and concluded with a discussion on the skills needed in the labor market.
