Manama on June 17 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a cable of congratulations to the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of Manama Club for winning the inaugural West Asian Premier League (Wasl).
His Highness praised the players for their performance during the tournament and the efforts of the technical and administrative staff.
His Highness also sent a similar cable of congratulations to the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors, employees and players of Al-Najma Club for winning the 25th Asian Clubs League Handball Championship for men.
His Highness pointed out that these two cups enrich Bahrain’s record of sporting achievements within the comprehensive development of the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
