Manama, June 21 (BNA): The Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, received the Chairman of the Council of the Ten Commandments, Ibrahim Dawood Nono.
The meeting reviewed the synagogue’s goals, activities, and social and cultural events, in cooperation with various parties.
The meeting also discussed ways to enhance cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development.
Al-Asfoor affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to social justice and the promotion of human values, through respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, noting that Bahrain has a unique experience in consolidating religious freedoms.
He affirmed the Ministry’s support for civil society organizations that set goals that contribute to strengthening societal stability in the Kingdom.
