Bahrain expresses backs outcomes of Sudan’s Neighbouring Countries Summit in Egypt

Manama, July 13 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has expressed its full support for the outcomes of the summit of Sudan’s neighboring countries, which was held today in Cairo.

The summit called on the parties to the conflict in Sudan to commit to an immediate and sustainable ceasefire, to end the war, to protect lives and property, to facilitate access to humanitarian aid, and to affirm full respect for Sudan’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity. He also urged non-interference in Sudan’s internal affairs.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s appreciation for the diplomatic efforts made by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in hosting the summit of Sudan’s neighboring countries, in the presence of the President of the African Union and the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Secretary General of the League of Arab States.

The ministry also indicated that this is a pivotal step in the international efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive and sustainable peaceful solution to the current crisis, through the participation of all Sudanese parties in a comprehensive national dialogue that meets the aspirations of the Sudanese people for security.
