Manama, Jan. 21 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,992.48 points, marking an increase of 0.75 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the financial sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 746.99 points, marking an increase of 1.68 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 34 equity transactions took place with a volume of 355,871 worth BD 113,291.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 69.81% of the total value of securities traded.
