Manama, June 29 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain will celebrate tomorrow the International Day of Parliamentarians, which falls on June 30 of each year.
Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on this occasion.
In a statement on this occasion, the Speaker of Parliament expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the King, praising the royal support for the legislative power in the government.
He also praised the constructive and fruitful cooperation with the government, headed by His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which supported legislative and executive relations inspired by the spirit of the Bahraini team, to achieve the goals and aspirations of citizens and the country.
The Speaker of Parliament affirmed his determination to continue efforts to achieve more achievements in the rule of law and institutions to support parliamentary work, which reflects Bahrain’s democratic steps under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
