Abdulla bin Khalid College of Islamic Studies board holds regular meeting

Manama, July 12 (BNA): The Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid College of Islamic Studies held its regular meeting today at the Ministry of Education.

The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Juma, and was attended by Dr. Sheikh Abdul Latif Mahmoud Al-Mahmoud, Dr. Salman Sheikh Mansour Al-Sitri and other members.

The Council extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for allocating a Sharia college dealing with various modern Islamic sciences and bearing the name. The late His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, which will contribute to the graduation of qualified forensic science competencies.

The committee approved the results of the graduates of the first batch of Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid College of Islamic Studies, and discussed the ongoing preparations for holding their graduation ceremony.

He was also briefed on the progress of work in the construction of the college’s new building, praising the efforts made by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Works to complete work on the new building, which is characterized by its distinctive Arab and Islamic architectural character. style.

The Board of Trustees also reviewed a proposal submitted by its president to establish an induction program for students enrolled in the college during the application of the exemption system from the program or some of its courses according to the performance of new students.

The Academic Committee of the Board of Directors has been assigned to prepare the necessary reports on this program and present them at the next meeting.

The committee also approved the new fee schedule for the college, and requested the General Secretariat to coordinate with the Council of Higher Education regarding it to take the necessary measures in accordance with the applicable regulations.
