Manama, June 23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a telegram of congratulations from the Minister of Information, Dr. Ramadan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, after choosing Manama as the capital of Arab media in 2024. The 53rd regular session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information, held recently in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.
Minister Al Nuaimi extended his sincere congratulations to His Majesty the King on the Arab honor, noting that it reflects the appreciation of the Arab countries for the pioneering position that the media has reached in Bahrain thanks to the visions and sound directives of His Majesty King Hamad.
The Minister of Information affirmed that the new achievement confirms the continuous successes achieved by the media sector in the Kingdom, under the firm patronage of His Majesty the King, and the comprehensive development process that promoted freedom of opinion and expression, and supported the honest and free speech. It also paved the way for the Bahraini media to carry out its mission in serving the nation’s causes and defending its higher interests with the utmost responsibility and professionalism.
Dr. Ramadan Al-Nuaimi pledged that the Ministry of Information would continue to implement the visions and sound directives of His Majesty King Hamad by developing the national media system to be more capable and influential in highlighting the aspects of progress and prosperity that the Kingdom is witnessing under the leadership of His Majesty the King. .
