Manama, June 26 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority announced that it will conduct an intensive inspection campaign, in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, with the participation of the Capital Municipality and the Information Affairs Board. The Labor Market Regulatory Authority and the National Financial Supervisory Authority affirmed the continuation of coordination between them to intensify inspections in all governorates of the Kingdom, to address any violations or practices that may have a negative impact on the labor market, its stability and competitiveness and harm the economic and social security of the state. kingdom.

Hamad Faisal Al-Mulla, Director of Labor Inspection at the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, said that maintaining the stability of the labor market is a shared responsibility of government agencies that spare no effort in addressing all violations, in addition to being socially responsible and more aware of it. The importance of adhering to laws and regulations and not dealing with irregular workers, the more we achieve success in protecting the components of the labor market.

Al-Mulla added that the embassies of labor-exporting companies have a major role in educating their citizens about the importance of adhering to laws and regulations, indicating that the authority has raised the level of coordination with these embassies, stressing the depth of partnership with them for the benefit of all concerned.

He stressed the authority’s keenness to achieve a balance between meeting the needs of the national economy for regular workers in various sectors, which reflects positively on achieving fairness and clean competitiveness between businesses on the one hand, and zero tolerance for any harmful practices at work. market on the other hand.

He pointed out that the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, in coordination with the Authority, the Capital Municipality, and the Police Directorate, carried out an intensive inspection campaign in the Capital Governorate that focused on violating street vendors, as each concerned authority took measures according to its role, including the Labor Market Regulatory Authority law. Residence law in Bahrain, blocking public roads without a permit, which led to the registration of a number of violations and irregular workers. Accordingly, legal measures were taken.
