Manama, June 25 (BNA): Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Jumaa, praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior, led by Major General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, in combating drug trafficking.
Dr. Jumaa pointed out that the International Day for Combating Drugs and Illicit Trafficking represents an opportunity to highlight the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to combat this scourge.
He referred to the Ministry of Interior’s cooperation and coordination with other relevant ministries and authorities, especially the Ministry of Education, which implements programs to enhance students’ awareness to protect them during the school year.
